KFC Offers Up Fake Bearskin Colonel Sanders Rug

Inspired by the success of its fried chicken fireplace log, KFC decided to offer up something special for Valentine’s Day. They had their work cut out for them, though. No one can top the weirdness of a fireplace log that smells of fryer oil and breaded poultry.

Available via entering an online contest on Reddit, this Colonel Sanders bearskin rug will be the property of a lucky winner. Other contest runners up get two fried chicken pajama onesies, a gift card for KFC for two for a year, and a yearly subscription to an online streaming service.
“I’m no dating expert, but the only thing I can think of that’s more romantic than eating fried chicken on Valentine’s Day, is eating fried chicken on a faux bearskin rug created in the likeness of the greatest chicken salesman of all time – Colonel Sanders,” said Andrea Zahumensky, KFC U.S. CMO.
The contest is now live for fans who long to get busy on the furry back of a food industry icon. If that’s how you and your significant other like to get down, enter the competition by submitting unique and wacky SFW content on various subreddits for a chance to win.
