The judging is over, our taste buds are back to what passes for normal, and we have this year's Scovie champions. Congratulations to Lusty Monk Mustard, of Albuquerque, New Mexico for claiming top honors as the Grand Prize Winner in the Tasting Division, and Jungle Heat Sauces and Jellies of Ontario, Canada, as the Grand Prize Winner in the Marketing and Advertising Division. These two winners will each receive a Disc-It outdoor cooker.
A friend of mine used to say, "crack don't smoke itself." Well, your awesome spicy food won't enter itself in the 2013 Scovie Awards, either. Unless you made some sort of zombie out of super hot peppers, of course. And if you have, we really, really want to do a story about it. Right before we put a shotgun slug in its noggin.
