Our new show mascot, Chile the Kid

The 27th National Fiery Foods & BBQ Show invades the Sandia Resort & Casino this week, from March 6-8. Here’s a quick rundown on the schedule. See you there!

General Public Show Hours
Friday, 4-8 pm
Saturday, 11am-7pm
Sunday, 11 am -6pm

 

Guest Chef Demo Schedule
The Demos will occur indoors at a new venue, Eagle Meeting Rooms A&B, a large facility off the lobby on the east side of the show hall.

Friday, March 6
6pm: Matt Yohalem, Il Piatto Restaurant

Saturday, March 7
12 noon: Tequila Demonstration, Greg Mays
1:30: Tim Ziegler Spice Demo
3:00: Rachel Rappaport, Cooking with Frank’s RedHot Sauce
4:30: Garden Fresh Cooking with Salsa. Chef Andi Hevron

Sunday, March 8
12 noon: Tequila Demonstration, Greg Mays
1:30: Tim Ziegler Spice Demo
2:30: Garden Fresh Cooking with Salsa. Chef Troy Garrett
3:30: CNM Culinary Club Presentation

Exhibitor Lounge, Store, and Meeting Rooms
Next to the Cooking Demo room, we’ll now have a lounge where exhibitors can relax, have meetings, or buy what they need for their booth at the show.

Craft Beer Tastings
Premier Distributing will sponsor tastings of the craft beers from smaller breweries they own on the stage in the main show hall. New this year is a tequila-flavored Mexican beer, Oculto, with a “Day of the Dead” packaging theme.

New Show Mascot
We are introducing Chile the Kid as our new show mascot, and he will be hanging out in the front lobby to meet everyone!
