Florida’s Gulf Coast Eggfest isn’t about the little white things chickens crank out of their backsides all day. It’s a major grilling party that brings together Big Green Egg and barbecue enthusiasts (some of whom may cook the smaller white eggs on the larger green ones).
Held at the beautiful Tabellas in Tampa, Florida, the EggFest takes place February 29th. It features talented chefs, pitmasters, and backyard grillers preparing samples cooked off of a Big Green Egg for tasters to judge (and hopefully enjoy).
Cooking teams will be working off of Demo Eggs that are available for the public to pre-purchase at a discounted price, for a limited time only, leading up to the EggFest. Naturally, there’ll be all-day entertainment and activities, live music, and locally made food and drinks. The fun goes from 10:00am to sundown.
