il_570xN.194840540If you make someone weep and blush on Valentine’s Day, you’ve either done something really well, or really screwed the pooch. However, if you want to let someone know they’re as hot as capsaicin without frying their tastebuds, this clever gift might be the way to go.

Capsaicin is the hot molecule from chile peppers that makes our face flush, our eyes bulge, or skin sweat and this necklace commemorates the capsaicin molecule in sterling silver. The result is part inside joke, part jewelry (seriously, how many of us know what the diagram for capsaicin looks like?). The pendant is about 2 inches long and is attached to a sterling silver snake chain, adjustable in length between 16 and 18 inches.
