Here’s the first of what will probably be many apps built around hot sauce. According to the website, Jim’s Burning Ring of Fire iPhone App “empowers your inner pyro and manages your flaming taste-buds with hot sauce reviews and ratings for an exhaustive listing of available hot sauces and hot sauce makers…. AND includes a handy reference Scoville Heat Unit scale of well-known hot sauces you can use to ‘learn the burn’.”

With a reduced price of $0.99 (down from a whopping $3) and a 20% discount coupon for Ashley Foods, the maker of Mad Dog hot sauce, we think this app is a steal!

In iTunes Preview, it’s flagged as having “infrequent/mild profanity or crude humor.” Sign us up!
