gourmiaGourmia, a designer and manufacturer of innovative countertop kitchen appliances, is about to change the way Americans cook. Its new GKM9000 IoT multi-cooker kitchen machine is truly a first-of-its-kind product in the United States. With an interactive color screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a mobile app that lets you monitor progress, the Gourmia GKM9000 guides cooks step-by-step through pre-programmed recipes and handles every part of the process, from chopping and mixing to cooking.

Editor Note: Gourmia will introduce the GKM9000 at the International Home + Housewares Show 2016 on March 5-8 in Booth # L12739 Inside McCormick Place Exposition Center.

“With so many innovative features, our all-in-one ultra-versatile GKM9000 is the only culinary device a cook needs,” enthused Sam Ash, chief marketing officer for Gourmia. “It’s designed to not only replace your food processor, stove and countertop cooking appliances, it’s also like having a private chef standing alongside giving directions and sharing an endless supply of recipes. From appetizers to desserts, the Wi-Fi connected Gourmia GKM9000 kitchen machine is like a cookbook that actually cooks.”

From Food Preparation to Cooking, this IoT Cooker Does it All
The GKM9000 multi-cooker kitchen machine handles virtually every part of the process from prep to cooking to create amazing gourmet meals. All the cook needs to do is add the ingredients and push a button or two. The GKM9000 takes it from there. Step-by-step video instructions with visual and audio alerts are played on a built-in full-color 7” digital LCD touchscreen display, keeping the cook apprised of the meal’s progress and any steps that need to be taken. The unit is so advanced it will even know when the correct amount of an ingredient has been added using its built-in scale, then prompts you as to the next step. The included mobile app can be used to download recipes from around the world off the Internet, create your own recipes, shopping lists or monitor the progress of your cooking.

Simple and easy to use, the Gourmia GKM9000 kitchen machine will: cook pasta, rice, vegetable dishes, soups, and sauces; prepare herbs and vegetables; steam vegetables and fish; blend mayonnaise and creams; puree baby food; chop fruits and vegetables; grind nuts; knead dough; whip cream; grate vegetables, hard cheese, and chocolate; prepare smoothies or cocktails; crush ice; powder sugar; and more. It’s the all-in-one personal chef cooks have been waiting for.

Advanced Cooking Functions
More than offering multiple cooking modes including a manual mode, the GKM9000’s engineers also optimized the modes to deliver greater performance and versatility. For example, it features a unique steaming function that uses a special approach that allows a complete meal to be cooked in one step. An innovative interior tray and “condensation catcher” system means that users can prepare an entire steamed meal with meat, poultry or fish, starch and vegetables, without allowing the pungent tastes of some menu items to overpower the delicate taste of others.

Rubber pads on the bottom ensure the unit does not move, even during use. Measuring 18”w x 12”d x 20”h and weighing 22 pounds, it can be neatly stored on the kitchen counter, in a cupboard, or on a convenient shelf.

Pricing and Availability
The Gourmia GKM9000 multi-cooker kitchen machine has an MSRP of $599.99 and will be available in Q2 2016.
