gI_92112_Sauce Bottles 2014A couple of years ago, Schultz’s Gourmet was a huge hit at the National Fiery Foods and Barbecue Show. Everyone was hot to try their line of organic hot sauces. Now, the company launches nationally into Kroger stores in time for the 2015 grilling season.

Sedulous Foods Inc., makers of the Schultz’s Gourmet brand of Health Helpful cooking hot sauces will now be available to consumers through Kroger and Kroger owned retail chains across the country later this spring.

Schultz’s Gourmet Cooking Hot Sauces come in two flavorful varieties: Spicy Original and Sweet Heat. Both sauces are 30-year-old family recipes that are intended to be used as an ingredient in recipes to enhance the meal’s flavor while not overpowering with heat. Made with fresh chopped garlic, extra virgin olive oil and a blend of peppers, Schultz’s Gourmet Cooking hot sauces bring great flavor and versatility to a meal. All Schultz’s Gourmet products are Health Helpful, meaning that they are made with natural ingredients and never contain artificial flavors, preservatives, MSG, or high fructose corn syrup.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Sedulous Foods and Schultz’s Gourmet. Our goal has always been to share our love of cooking and spicy foods through our sauces while staying true to the same natural, authentic and spicy recipes that our family & friends have been enjoying for years,” said Mike Schultz Sr., President and CEO of Sedulous Foods. “We couldn’t be more excited and are looking forward to being able to offer our healthy hot sauces at Kroger stores nationwide.”

Schultz’s Gourmet cooking hot sauces will be available this May in over 1700 Kroger locations for the suggested retail price of $5.99. For more information on Schultz’s Gourmet, please visit their website.
