During the 29th National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show, 505 Food Fights will produce five Food Fights involving New Mexico chefs competing tournament-style to raise funds for a charity called Project Lunchbox. This project raises money to pay off students’ lunch debts so that they can again enjoy a full lunch instead of the cheese sandwich they get when they are in arrears. More about 505 Food Fights and Project Lunchbox here.

The chefs competing this year in the Eagle Room at Sandia Resort & Casino are

David Sellers, Street Food Institute
Fernando Ruiz, Santacafé
Christopher Cook, Sister
Rafael Zamora, Vintage 423
Carrie Eagle, Farm and Table
Josh Kennon, Fork and Fig

Carrie Eagle recently won on the TV show “Chopped.” More information on the chefs is here.

The 29th National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show is March 3-5 at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. More information here.
