Bloody Mary from Jalapeño Wine

“I want a Bloody Mary but I don’t want a Bloody Mary.” That might be a good way to describe this version of the tomato-based concoction that people stuff with everything from celery sticks to fried chicken. The BM is based around either vodka or tequila but if you’re looking for an alternative to hard booze and a different bit of flavor, consider this version. It swaps on jalapeño wine for a lighter take on the Bloody Mary. With a variety of chile pepper wines on the market, though, you needn’t be limited to just ones of the jalapeño persuasion.
